Torba

The play Torba is based on an American peace worker’s four years in the war-torn Balkans. Just as the war is ending, idealistic Amy arrives ready to do her so-called "peace work." Very soon she realizes that she is the one in need of transformation. The play explores the relationship between justice and mercy, and examines how the past, present, and future overlap to create a path towards forgiveness.
